Services

 Approximately one hour of multi-modality equine bodywork, including owner education and homework. Cost is $125.
 Is your anxiety carrying over to your horse? Try a walking meditation session with your horse, adapted from the teachings of Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hahn. Get yourself into a zen state of mind … which is the first step toward helping your horse get there, as well. $15 for about 20 minutes, plus a printed meditation.
 Regional travel is welcomed, with a three-horse minimum required for travel more than two hours from western Oklahoma. Just inquire.

More about the sessions:
 I consider myself a facilitator, helping the horse find its way back into balance. It isn’t possible to force a horse healthy. Their bodies – just like ours – naturally want to move in the healthiest, most balanced way possible. But injuries, sometimes even microinjuries, can result in fascial restrictions or adhesions … and that can easily lead to compensatory movement patterns that can be difficult to break. Light-touch modalities that allow the horse to be a willing partner, gently releasing fascia, nerves and blood vessels, can restore balance. Postural rehab can gently point horses into better movement patterns, teaching them to use the biomechanically correct muscles.
 For whole-horse assessments, we will examine all the things that affect how your horse shows up in his body: diet, living environment, hoof balance and saddle fit.
 Show sessions, necessarily, are a little different than ones in the horse’s home setting. For one, the horses will not have the recommended luxury of taking a few days off to let the body’s changes fully absorb. For this reason, we focus only on some key areas that can release tension patterns, free up the diaphragm (breathwork for horses!) and ease pain in commonly strained areas such as the poll. You can expect some bonus breathwork tips for humans, as well, since our tension and mindset affect our horses dramatically.
